What to expect

Tom Warr - Blue Tit Creative Director & Mads Ruus - Blue Tit Copenhagen co-owner will be taking you through a day of cutting and styling focused on their favourite looks and styles. The day will start with an introduction into them and where they found inspiration through out their careers. Tom will talk about why and how different influences of British Subcultures have inspired him as a Stylist and Creative Director in London. Mads will take you through what inspired him over his 10 years in London with Blue tit and why he wanted to bring this back to Copenhagen.  After this introduction, they will be showcasing a live demo and take you through step-by-step cutting and styling techniques inspired by there favourite looks shown in the introduction.

Capturing content is a huge part of our work and something we feel very passionate about. After the demonstration they will take you through their tips and experience, showing you how they shoot their looks on the model. 

In the afternoon you will get a chance to work on a live model inspired by what you have just seen in the morning. Tom and Mads will be there to guide you through the consultation, cutting, styling and capturing your content. 

What you’ll get out of it

An inspiring day where you’ll meet other Stylists and have one-on-one time with Tom and Mads. The day is designed to show you how to take inspiration and put your spin on it to suit the model/client.  It’ll equip you with solid technical foundations while encouraging creative expression.
